Patrick Reynolds is an artist and illustrator with a varied and extensive background. As a young man, he earned tuition money drawing caricatures on the boardwalk in Atlantic City. As a Vietnam combat veteran, he used his talents to draw portraits of his teammates. This he says, helped keep his sanity intact. Since that time, he has earned a living as a sign painter, portrait artist, muralist, book cover illustrator, and art instructor.
In recent years, he has turned his skills towards miniature canvas oil paintings. He says, “Painting a 2 ½” x 3 ½” oil is far more complex than I realized. Scale is important and mistakes are harder to correct, however the result is extraordinary. I hope you enjoy what I have created.”
